The new and improved print version of the TAFE Courses Directory Victoria 2009 is coming your way in August!

TAFE is the perfect place to gain the skills and qualifications you need to make the most of industry’s ever expanding demand for skills and to build a satisfying career.

In this Directory you will discover the broad range of courses available through Victorian TAFE institutions as well as private registered training organisations. It gives you an up-to-date listing of more than 1400 accredited courses on offer from TAFE Institutes and other training providers across Victoria.

Check out some of these interesting facts about TAFE:

• 82 per cent of TAFE graduates were in employment 6 months after the end of their training
• 89 per cent of TAFE graduates were highly satisfied with their training experience
• Almost 90 per cent of graduates were employed or in further study after training
• 77 per cent of Victorian TAFE graduates undertook training for employment related reasons including to get a job, to get a better job, to get extra skills or change careers
• 57 per cent of all students over 25 combine work and study
• 21 per cent of TAFE students are from a culturally and linguistically diverse background
• The average age of students in TAFE is 32 for females and 30 for males
